Davos is an Alpine resort town and a municipality in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland.
Gaining prominence in the 19th century as a mountain health resort, Davos is perhaps best known today for hosting the World Economic Forum—often referred to simply as “Davos”—an annual meeting of global political and corporate leaders. With a long history of winter sport, Davos also has one of Switzerland's largest ski resorts, and March is still a great time for skiiing!
