Davos is an Alpine resort town and a municipality in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Gaining prominence in the 19th century as a mountain health resort, Davos is perhaps best known today for hosting the World Economic Forum—often referred to simply as “Davos”—an annual meeting of global political and corporate leaders. With a long history of winter sport, Davos also has one of Switzerland's largest ski resorts, and March is still a great time for skiiing!
If you arrive by plane to Zurich, you can take a train to Davos directly from Zurich airport. If you fly with SWISS, you can take your ski equipement free of charge. Switzerland has excellent train connections, so traveling from Zurich Airport to Davos is very convenient and takes only about 3 hours. You can book your train ticket via the SBB online portal.
The entrance to the congress center is best reached from the busstop Hertistrasse, Davos Platz.
